Luminosity Synergy - Course Review and Collaboration Platform
1 / 5

Luminosity Synergy was the communications and collaboration component of the Luminosity platform suite, alongside Luminosity Reach (LMS) and Luminosity Studio (authoring).

The home page displayed a per-user activity feed with threaded discussions grouped by review item and issue type (e.g., Design Issue, Typo, Link Style). Threads supported nested replies with user avatars and timestamps. An invite system allowed users to accept or reject review assignments, with a notification badge on the Home tab. A reviews panel listed all active reviews with status and age.

The courses page provided a course management dashboard where reviewers could add new courses, view grouped review items per course with status indicators (In Progress, Not Started), see assigned reviewers, create new reviews, and export review data to Excel. The review detail page displayed the course content being reviewed with threaded discussions below and navigation between reviews.

The interface was specced at the pixel level — 35x35 avatars, 8px indent on single replies, 16px indent per nested thread level, green separator lines between threads, and consistent padding on interactive elements.

Synergy was part of the complete Luminosity rebranding initiative documented in Project #64, which included new logos for CM Group, Content Master, and the full Luminosity product family.
